Social Responsibility
The growing concern about preserving the environment has motivated FW to become socially accountable and WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) certified. In addition to abiding to the 12 WRAP principles, FW also ensures that all internal & external partners participate in efforts to reduce any negative impact on our environment.
In support of a cleaner environment, FW has substantially improved all its fabric processes; from growing cotton, to dyeing fabric, and development of innovative eco-friendly fabric blends. FW offers fabrics made with the renewable resource Bamboo which has naturally moisture wicking and anti-bacterial properties. FW cotton headwear styles are also made with organic cotton; the cotton is treated using only eco-friendly processes thus reducing the output of pollutants into the environment. The newest addition of eco-friendly fabrics to the FW collection is RPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) which is fabric spun from recycled pop bottles.
